Personality: Blaze is very excitable and very energetic, always managing to tire out and annoy even the most patient of people. His mind can’t seem to stay focused on one topic or task for a long period of time, always getting distracted at every opportunity. In addition to that, he tends to speak his mind without thinking and happily talks over others if he wants to talk. Though all these traits seem to go away when he duels.
Biography: It was obvious from birth that Blaze was an excitable child. Even as a newborn, he was always looking around, trying to find the next thing to look at. His tenacity had him walking months before his first birthday and talking before his second. When it came to school, however, he didn’t advance nearly as quickly, almost getting held back every single year until he was in 8th Grade. Due to this, he was mocked by other kids often and found himself to be the number one target for bullies.
He didn’t let that get to him, though, and quickly made friends despite his difficulty. It was from these friends that he first discovered his obsession with fire and that he first began to travel down a slightly darker path than most. His obsession started as an innocent curiosity, one that even a child could hold, however as time went on it became obvious that he was developing a problem.
Eventually, Blaze was introduced to Duel Monsters, as a form of distraction. Deciding to base his deck on flames and burn damage, he took to cards like solar flare dragon quickly, and even quicker to the volcanic archtype. During all this time, he took up the nickname “Blaze”, for obvious reasons.
He considers his current deck and his ace card to be his “Avatar”, enjoying them immensely.
